Delbarton Parents of Graduates Association (DPGA)
The Delbarton Parents of Graduates (DPGA) was established in 1985 by Fr. Stephen Findlay in order to meet the expressed wish of many parents who wanted to stay in touch with each other, as well as with the school, after their son(s) had graduated. This years events included participation in Homecoming in October, Starting off the Christmas season with our annual Jazz concert featuring Dan Levinson, and our Palm Sunday Brunch, honoring Robert and Patricia Foley, parents of Brian ‘88.
Our final event for this year is our annual Wine Tasting & Dinner to be held on Saturday April 19th at 6:30 PM in Old Main. A variety of wines will be presented by Kevin Cahill ‘74 of Discover Wines in Somerville, NJ. Dinner will consist of butlered hors d‘ oeuvres, a buffet of antipasto and grilled vegetables, beef tenderloin, chicken francaise, pasta with vodka sundried tomato sauce, dessert & coffee. The cost is $65.00 per person. This is always a fun evening and a great way to reconnect with other parents of graduates.

Assumption College for Sisters, Mendham, NJ has announced its Annual Education Awards to include Abbot Giles P. Hayes, Delbarton School. He is being recognized for his 'voice is support of social justice' that has created an atmosphere of social concerns among the students at Delbarton.
The Awards Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, April 17th at 6:30 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott Hotel, Route 10 East, Whippany, NJ.
A reception will precede the dinner in the hotel's grand ballroom. For reservations, call 973-543-6528, ext. 230. A table of 10 costs $2,000; however, individual tickets can be purchased for $200.
Two other individuals will also be recognized for Service and Lifetime Achievements. They have been noted in detail in the Beacon Catholic newspaper, dated April 7, 2008.

Helping Haiti Through Partners in Health

Last summer everyone at Delbarton read Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder, the story of Partners in Health, a non-profit founded by Dr. Paul Farmer that provided basic health care to the people of Haiti for the past twenty years. When the 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, 2010 the Delbarton community was familiar with the conditions on Haiti prior to the cataclysmic event. Spring Adult Education at St. Mary Abbey

The Delbarton community, neighbors and friends are cordially invited to attend the 2010 St. Mary's Abbey Spring Evening Lecture Series. Three 3-part series on a variety of religious topics take place during the month of March at St. Mary’s Abbey/Delbarton School Morristown, NJ in the Kountze Room of Old Main.
