Former Green Wave javelin thrower Dean Sullivan '11 captured the event title in his first Outdoor Heptagonal Championship competition competing for the Harvard Crimson. On his final throw, Sullivan launched the javelin 208' 11" (63.68m) to win the competition by more than three feet.

Jon Leanos '08, a senior attacker for Hamilton College, has been chosen unanimously as the NESCAC Player of the Year by conference coaches. Leanos was Hamilton's top scorer in 2012, with 50 points as a starter in all 15 of his team's matches.
Tony Pace '75, chief marketing officer for the franchise chain Subway, was deeply involved in the first episode of The Pitch, a new AMC series that debuted on April 30 2012. Each week the show shadows two ad agencies as they pitch corporate clients like Subway for new business.

Delbarton sports fans join Green Wave wrestling coach Bryan Stoll in congratulating a former Green Wave wrestler, Cornell's Frank Perrelli '07, who ended his collegiate career by taking fourth in the NCAA Wresting Championship in the 125 weight class. As a result Perrelli secured All American status.

Cholish has drawn national publicity for an unusual biographical detail in fighting— his day job as a Wall Street energy broker for natural gas and crude oil futures and options. Sportswriters have enjoyed profiling the “Ivy League energy broker turned fighter”.

Last February Kyle McLaughlin '11 wowed audiences at Delbarton's Abbey Players production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Exactly one year later he had a similar affect on the crowd when he took to the stage at USC starring in the University's rock musical Spring Awakening. The show sold out in just 36 hours and McLaughlin got great reviews.
