A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the NHL’s Hockey Fights Cancer, a joint charitable initiative founded by the National Hockey League and NHL Players Association. “Hockey Fights Cancer” has raised more than $11 million for national and local cancer research institutions, Children's Hospitals, and other cancer organizations. In addition to Hockey Fights Cancer, both teams will be fundraising on behalf of their respective schools.
