Drama

The Delbarton Theatre program seeks to introduce students to the art of theatre in all its variety and to develop creative expression in front of an audience. The school has a very active program in which students can explore a wide variety of the skills needed to mount a production - from scenery building and lighting work to acting, writing, and directing. Delbarton puts on four productions a year: Two fall Dramas, a winter musical, and a student-written, student-directed one-act play festival in the spring, with both students and faculty members in performing roles. As Delbarton is an all male school, female roles are cast through open auditions.
