Summer Reading 2012

Dear Delbarton Students:

Below is your summer reading list. We are excited about the summer book choices and hope you will be, too.  While you do not need to keep a journal or write an essay on these books, you should read the books actively and attentively.  When you return to school in the fall, your teacher will lead activities to assess your comprehension of the books.

Please note that, beginning May 16, these books may be ordered directly from our online bookstore (MBS Direct). You will be able to order them simply by using the following URL: http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/delbarton.htm. Click on Order My Books, then select Summer Reading 2012.

We also encourage you to read for pleasure during the summer. Reading good books is the best way to improve your reading comprehension, reading rate, and vocabulary. Please go to your local bookstore and find works of fiction and nonfiction that interest you.
